Downhill Mountain Biking – Beginner Outing: Discover DH with Confidence!

Get started with downhill mountain biking on the trails of Les Menuires and Val Thorens Want to experience the thrill of downhill mountain biking, even without prior experience? This special outing for beginners allows you to discover DH (Downhill) safely, guided by a professional instructor. Thanks to the ski lifts (gondolas and chairlifts), you can easily reach the top of the trails to focus solely on downhill riding.
On the specially designed green trails, you'll learn the basics of riding: braking, body position, banked turns, small jumps, bridges, whoops… A fun and progressive way to familiarize yourself with this spectacular sport.

Two Outing Formats for Two Beginner Profiles

Beginner "Discovery" – Ages 10 and up A gentle introduction, ideal for children, families, or complete novices. The pace is relaxed, with an emphasis on confidence, fun, and safety. A perfect first approach to have fun without being intimidated.
Beginner "Thrills" – Ages 14 and up For those who feel comfortable on a mountain bike and want to experience the thrill of downhill riding right away! The pace is more dynamic, the guidance is more in-depth, and progress is rapid. The goal: to discover the technical basics and have maximum fun from the very first session.
