Artisan Bread Workshop in a Wood-Fired Oven & WalkA friendly and authentic day discovering bread and mountain trails!
Guided by Roland, a passionate Mountain Guide, this unique outing combines a walk, traditional skills, and delicious treats.
In the morning, you will be welcomed to Saint-Jean-de-Belleville around a traditional wood-fired oven. Roland will introduce you to the different flours used, the bread-making process, and will teach you how to knead dough. While the dough rises and the oven heats up, you will set off on an easy walk in the area around Saint-Jean, between hamlets, forests, and alpine panoramas.
Back at the oven, it's time to shape and bake your own loaf! A wonderful opportunity to share experiences, discover time-honored techniques, and feel the warmth of a crackling wood fire.
We will then share a convivial moment over lunch (bring your own picnic, not provided). At the end of the day, everyone will leave with their warm, golden bread… and a head full of memories!
