Want to go beyond hiking or via ferrata? The Arête des Cœurs, above Val Thorens, immerses you in a true high-mountain atmosphere, on a wild and airy route, between sky and rock.
This PD+ level ridge climb (sections of grade 4 difficulty) allows you to discover the basics of rock mountaineering, without extreme difficulty. Here, there are no rungs or artificial equipment like in via ferrata: you progress roped up with your guide, on natural rock, learning to move safely in a magnificent mineral world.
Between easy climbing sections, sharp ridges, and spectacular views of the Vanoise peaks, this outing is ideal for those who want to experience an authentic alpine adventure, at the pace of the rope and the terrain.
