Looking for thrills and a fun mountain activity? The Montagne Aventure course in Val Thorens offers a unique experience: a "treetop adventure course without trees," suspended on the cliffside in an exceptional natural setting, just steps from the Lac des Grenouilles (Frog Lake).
Accessible to adults and young people from age 11 (and at least 1.40m tall), this course is equivalent to a red level in traditional treetop adventure courses. A perfect activity to share with friends or family.
A Unique Course in the Heart of the Mountains
Suspended walkways, rope bridges, Tibetan and Nepalese bridges, zip lines, an introduction to via ferrata, and many other original challenges await you! All the elements are designed to offer a progressive challenge and exhilarating experiences, all within a magnificent mountain setting.
On Fridays, a special outing is offered to unaccompanied minors, led by a high mountain guide (reservations required).
Practical Information
- Location: Lac des Grenouilles (see map), a 15-minute walk from the Maison de Val Thorens (follow the signs from Place Caron)
- Open Monday to Thursday, flexible departure times from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm (last departure) subject to availability
- Friday: supervised outing for unaccompanied minors (reservation required), meet at the time reserved during registration
- Duration: approximately 1 hour 30 minutes
- Safety Equipment: CLiC-iT: continuous lifeline for independent movement and Safety
- Booking recommended online or at one of our points of sale
- Discounts with the Climbing Passport (in-person booking only)
Participation in this activity implies acceptance of the internal regulations for the treetop adventure courses.

Children aged 6 to 12 can also enjoy their own Mountain Adventure in Les Menuires, specially designed for them, in a safe and fun natural setting. A great activity to enjoy as a family, while the older children explore Val Thorens!
